This privacy policy sets out how Shawn Eastman Photography (“I”, “me”) uses and protects any personal data that you can provide when using this website.
 

I am committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. If I ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

I may request to collect the following information when you complete a submission form:

  • Contact information including email address, telephone and/or mobile numbers

  • Demographic information such as address and postcode

  • Any other personal information you may choose to tell us during the submission of a contact form message

I require this information to better understand your needs and respond to any enquires received, and for internal record keeping. I may also use this information to contact you with regards to a newsletter or correspondence you may have signed up for via the website, such as you requesting to be notified when a photo book or print is available for purchase.

In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, this website has suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the personal data it collects online. This includes using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Technology and data encryption.

Please note that if one isn't present, the form does not save your information for marketing purposes that you are not already expecting - for example, alerting you to the availability of a photo book is correspondence you would have signed up for and would be expecting to receive, rather than specific marketing material being sent to you unannounced.

  • If you have previously agreed to me using your personal information for direct marketing purposes or to inform you about the release of a publication, you may change your mind at any time by emailing me at shawneastman@hotmail.com.
     

I will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties under any circumstances. I will only use your personal information to deal with your enquires or requests.
 

Under the Data Protection Act 1988 and General Data Protection Regulations you may request details of personal information which I hold about you by making a subject access request to shawneastman@hotmail.com.
 

If you believe that any information I am holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please contact me as soon as possible using the methods above. I will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

Under EU Law, you may request that any personal data I hold about you is deleted and I will do so unless there is a legal basis for me to retain that information.
